Feature

Until now, using Thinkr from an AI assistant meant creating a token and pasting it into a config file. That works in Claude Code and Cursor, but claude.ai and the ChatGPT app have nowhere to paste a token, so most people writing PRDs in a chat window couldn't connect at all.

Now they can. Add Thinkr as a connector, sign in, pick a workspace, and click Allow.

What shipped

  • claude.ai (web and desktop): add Thinkr under Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector with https://app.usethinkr.com/mcp, then click Connect.
  • ChatGPT: in Developer mode, create an app with the same URL and choose OAuth.
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add without a token, then sign in from /mcp. Tokens still work too.
  • A sign-in page that shows what you're agreeing to: which app is asking and where it comes from, what it can do, which workspace it works in, and where you'll go back to. claude.ai and chatgpt.com are marked Verified; anything else is marked Unverified.
  • Settings → Connected apps: every app you've signed in to, the workspace it uses, and when it was last used. Disconnect stops it right away.

Once connected, your assistant can list and read your PRDs, run Thinkr's 11-pass critique, and read the score and findings, the same as with a token. The MCP guide walks through each tool.

The details that matter

  • One connection, one workspace. The app only sees the PRDs and critiques in the workspace you pick, and critiques it runs count against that workspace's usage. To use another workspace, connect again.
  • Read and critique only. A connected app can't edit or delete anything in Thinkr.
  • Access follows membership. If you leave a workspace, its connected apps stop working on the next call.
  • Plans. Connecting is included on Solo, Team, and Enterprise. Free workspaces show up on the sign-in page but can't be picked.
