Free is a plan, not a countdown

The free plan used to be described as a trial. That framing was wrong, and worse, the limits underneath it didn't refill. If you ran your one critique, that was the last one you were getting. Not this month, not this week. Ever.

That's fixed.

The allowance refills

Free is now what the pricing page always claimed it was: a permanent plan, no card, no expiry date. Your allowance resets at the start of each calendar month and doesn't roll over.

The number that matters most: three 11-pass critiques a month, up from one.

One critique is enough to see what the tool does. It isn't enough to change how you write. Critique is the part of Thinkr we think is genuinely hard to get anywhere else, and putting it behind a one-shot limit was the wrong call. Three a month is enough to run a draft, fix what came back, and run it again.

Drafting, editing, and quality scoring stay uncapped on free, bounded only by the monthly usage allowance. Proposal decks stay at one a month.

Everyone starts fresh today

Because the limits changed shape, every existing free workspace has had its counters reset. If you burned your one critique back in June, you have three waiting for you right now. Nothing to click.

What didn't change

Paid plans are untouched — same prices, same limits, same features. If you're on Solo, Team, or Enterprise, this release does nothing to your account.

And free still has real edges. It's sized to let you evaluate Thinkr properly and to keep a light workflow running, not to replace a paid seat. The pricing page has the full breakdown.
